Vicky Gunning, Managing Partner of the Dallas office, represents financial institutions and venture capital companies in asset based and real estate secured loans, syndicated credits, mezzanine debt, and debt restructurings and foreclosures.

Lucy Billingsley, Billingsley Company 

Lucy Billingsley has spent her career in real estate, developing and managing commercial developments. Lucy and Henry Billingsley started Billingsley Company as joint partners in 1978 to manage their growing real estate portfolio.

Barry Olson, Goldman Sachs

Barry is a managing director of Goldman Sachs and is a member of the Real Estate Principalling Area of the Merchant Banking Division. During his career, Barry has been responsible for the origination of commercial real estate investments totaling over $80 billion in total capitalization.

Jim has over 35 years of experience in virtually every aspect of land development, master planning, public infrastructure planning and design. This experience has been and continues to develop, from hands-on design, to managing complete teams, down to the intimate project details.

Shawn Todd, Todd Interests

Shawn Todd is the CEO and founder of Dallas-based real estate development and investment firm Todd Interests. Todd Interests targets real estate opportunities on a national level with a specific emphasis on “value-add” properties that are opportunistic in nature.

MEMBERSHIP CHAIR
Tom Bakewell, StreetLights Residential

In his 20-plus years in real estate, Tom has been responsible for more than $2 billion in development and acquisitions of multifamily assets. As president of development, he oversees all development activities including feasibility analysis, site selection and asset management.

David Evemy, Sarofim Realty Advisors

As the SVP of strategic planning and research, David leads the research group in the review and analysis of economic trends. He is responsible for investment strategy design and implementation as well as market conditions analysis effecting new and existing property assets.

In her seven years with Gables, Katy Slade has developed mixed-use properties in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Fort Lauderdale, and San Diego. She currently manages development for Gables’ Dallas investments.

Evan has more than ten years of experience in architecture and planning including managing complex projects through design and construction phases, as well as planning and schematic design for numerous large-scale projects.
