Inspiring Hope

The Real Estate Council Foundation is the philanthropic arm of The Real Estate Council. We work to strengthen the community through good works in four key areas: education, housing, job creation and the environment. Since its inception in 1994, The Real Estate Council Foundation has contributed more than $11 million in grant funds to more than 100 nonprofit community organizations supported by pro-bono professional services work from our members and their companies.

Following a strategic plan that Deloitte facilitated with the TREC Foundation Board in early 2017, TREC Foundation introduced new fundraising model to focus on a specific Dallas neighborhood with collaborating partners and address a specific community challenge. This initiative is meant to maximize TREC Foundation’s impact and raise its profile within the community.

From this plan, Dallas Catalyst Project was born.

Dream Builders

Foundation Board members identify, evaluate and select philanthropic projects that address a significant community need and align with TREC’s mission.
