Three New Programs to Talk About

One of my favorite aspects about TREC is that regardless the stage of your career, there is a program designed to further your understanding of our industry and city. And as a member, you receive reduced pricing or even complimentary access to these opportunities.

This year I’m honored to serve as the Programs Committee Chair and am excited to announce in addition to our compelling Speaker Series and Power Hours, we are introducing three new educational programs: Industry Insights, TREC webinars and CEO Circle. Here is a preview of the year:

Bank of Texas Speaker Series

Learn from noted industry, business and community leaders at our quarterly Speaker Series. Our first Speaker Series of the year featured a discussion on economic conditions with Rob Kaplan, the new president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Look for details on the second quarter coming soon. See sponsorship opportunities.

Power Hour

Gain exclusive access to people, places and experiences you can’t find anywhere else. Available to Investor members and above, Power Hours allow for intimate networking and development tours with industry experts and city leaders to discuss industry issues or trends. This year we will feature a tour of Old Parkland, a sneak peak of McKinney and Olive, a visit to Trinity Forest and more. See sponsorship opportunities.

Industry Insights

Hear from decision makers in the high net worth, office, multifamily, retail, senior housing and healthcare CRE sectors. Through a keynote address and several panels, you’ll leave each breakfast with a comprehensive understanding of each sector’s status. For this program, TREC has partnered with Real Estate Deal Sheet. Our first Industry Insights on March 2 features experts in high net worth and family office. See sponsorship opportunities.

TREC Webinars

Deepen your understanding of the industry from the comfort of your personal computer. Topics include market updates, emerging technology, public policy and leadership development. In the first quarter, discover how to finance energy efficiency with the Dallas PACE program on February 26, find out how recent market volatility effects the economy on March 1 and hear how technology is changing consumers and capital markets on March 3. See sponsorship opportunities.

CEO Circle

Gain incomparable access at these intimate gatherings of fellow leaders shaping our industry, city and region. Exclusively for C-Suite executives, CEOs will exchange ideas and perspectives as well as build relationships with this memorable experience. Our first gathering featured a small breakfast with Rob Kaplan, the new president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

TREC also offers numerous programs designed especially for young professionals such as About Towns, Forum and Rising to the Top. I hope you take advantage of all TREC has to offer. As important, I encourage you to share topics, speakers or ideas. So, come find me or program committee members at events, participate in surveys or contact TREC. With your continued feedback, I look forward to delivering quality and informative programs.
