Even though Giving Gala celebrates all the giving TREC members have done for the community throughout the last year, guests will have plenty of opportunity to continue giving during Thursday’s festivities.

Donations will primarily benefit the upcoming Dallas Catalyst Project, a three-year TREC Foundation initiative to provide $1 million in grants and professional services toward a project our members will vote on in November.

It’s back and bigger than ever. Guests will be able to purchase bottles of wine as donations of $25, $50 or $100.
Here’s the catch: You won’t know which wine you are receiving until you “pull” it from our collection, but you are guaranteed a bottle whose value at least matches your donation. In many instances, your pull will (far) exceed the value of your donation.
The wine pull booth will open at 6 p.m. and close briefly during our program at 8 p.m. If any bottles remain, the booth will reopen at 8:30 p.m. Last year, the wine sold out before dinner started!
We recommend leaving your purchased bottles at the wine pull booth until the end of the evening due to its proximity to the exit. Sorry, but due to TABC laws, guests are prohibited from opening their bottles during the event.
Text and Give
You will be able to contribute to TREC Foundation without having to leave your table. All you have to do is text the amount you would like to donate to 469-214-6119, and in return you will receive instructions to help complete your donation.
It’s the one time using your phone during dinner won’t be considered rude.
Don’t worry about remembering the phone number. It will be shown on our projection screens throughout the evening and read aloud during our program.
In addition to accepting donations by cash or check, we will also leave pledge cards on tables and follow up with guests for their contributions in the coming weeks.
