The Rundown: TREC Educational Programs Explained

Danielle DiMartino Booth

To meet our mission to propel careers and build the city we’ve imagined, TREC significantly expanded our educational opportunities on the occasion of our 25th anniversary. We went from offering our premier program, the Speaker Series, and Power Hours to additionally offering the Industry Insights series, Webinars and CEO Circle opportunities since 2016. We know that many of our members still do not fully understand the scope of all the educational programs.

Education is the key to opportunity. If you want to advance your life and career, no matter who you are or where you’re from, you need to stay informed. Whether you’re fresh out of college or have long since moved into the coveted corner office (congrats on that, by the way), there’s always something new to learn – there’s always room for your world to expand.

TREC understands this. Sure, who you know in our industry is important, and that’s why so many of our events and programs focus on building crucial relationships within commercial real estate. But we couple those networking opportunities with a thirst for knowledge. Our city grows only if we do.

So we’re going to provide you with another educational opportunity– in the form of a weekly TRECWire series, starting with this post – about our educational programs. Each week, we’ll analyze a different program as it aligns to our upcoming events and programs schedule, offering you all the information you’ll need to determine whether you should attend the next one (HINT: you TOTALLY should).

The next several weeks will be very busy for us as we host our Power Hour, Industry Insights, Speaker Series, TREC Webinar and CEO Circle events. You’ll get to learn from the likes of Hilti North America CEO Avi Kahn, Jimmy Hinton of HFF and Dallas Morning News real estate editor Steve Brown, among many others.

So check the TRECWire every Wednesday for a new post, and learn a little bit before you learn a whole lot more.
