The Thanksgiving season has arrived and that means it’s time to gather friends and family for football and a great meal. It’s also a time of reflection and gratitude, and The Real Estate Council is grateful to all of our members for their hard work and dedication to making our city a better place and our industry a strong and welcoming community of professionals.
We asked TREC leaders to tell us what they are thankful for this year. Here’s what they told us:
PRESIDENT & CEO Linda McMahon, The Real Estate Council
I am thankful to work with a team and TREC members who share the values of investing in our community, investing in people and investing in our future. I am also thankful for my wonderful family and friends who are my constant source of support and guidance.
CHAIR Greg Kraus, Invesco Real Estate
I am thankful for…the opportunity to serve as the 2017 leader of such a tremendous group of people that collectively ARE The Real Estate Council. The incredible work of the TREC staff, leveraged by our engaged membership, makes such an impact on the entire region through visionary public policy, philanthropy and the tremendous relationships that are developed in the process of working together.
CHAIR-ELECT Ran HolmanCushman & Wakefield
I am grateful for those who have helped me and for those who have allowed me to help them.
IMMEDIATE PAST CHAIR Diane Butler, BBG
On this Thanksgiving, I am truly grateful for all of the friends and relationships in the CRE industry that have allowed me and TREC to be part of changing lives and making a difference in the city we love.
TREASURER Courtney Naudo, Deloitte.
Outside of the obvious aspects of being extremely thankful for my family, friends and colleagues at Deloitte…I am thankful for being part of an organization of values-based professionals that are invested in making Dallas a better community for everyone. I feel very blessed to be part of a group that is making a difference in my hometown.
SECRETARY Vicky Gunning, Locke Lorde
I am thankful for the generosity of all the members of TREC in gifts of their time, treasure, and talents to look beyond themselves to ensure that our industry and our community is vibrant and flourishing.
PROGRAMS CHAIR David Evemy, Sarofilm Realty Advisors
I am thankful for the commitment and the creative ideas of the programs committee this year. It has been so fun and rewarding working with this tremendous group of industry professionals. I am also deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with the TREC staff. They are a dedicated and immensely talented team who care tremendously about the future of our city. Thank you for all that you do.
PAC CHAIR Jim Knight, KFM Engineering & Design
I am thankful for my health and my family. It is because of these that I work so hard to help the community grow, get better and improve.
I am thankful for the service and commitment of our TREC members and the community. We are all working together every day to help the community grow and get better for all. This commitment takes time from work and family, but without these great sacrifices we wouldn’t be able to enjoy all we have.
COMMUNITY FUND CHAIR Rod Washington, Frost Bank
I’m thankful to be part of an organization that brings together people of different skills and backgrounds to make a positive impact on our community.
ALC CHAIR Rick Perdue, Mill Creek Residential Trust
I’m thankful to be a part of another incredible ALC class. This year’s class is once again raising the bar on this amazing program. We have a talented and diverse group of young professionals, a hard-working committee with great vision and a dedicated staff that makes it all work.
ALCAA CHAIR Justin Goertz, Marvin F. Poer & Company
I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve among so many committed, tireless and wonderful men and women who strive to make Dallas the best every single day.
