We’re Renaming the ALCAA

TREC’s Associate Leadership Council Alumni Association – better known as the ALCAA – is getting a slight makeover. We are renaming the program Leadership Alumni, effective immediately, though you may have heard us use the name at TREC Shark Tank a few weeks ago.

Why? The program once exclusive to graduates of our Associate Leadership Council is expanding to incorporate graduates of TREC’s Executive Leadership Council program.

The renamed Leadership Alumni program enables ALC and ELC graduates to reconnect with their classmates and offers ongoing leadership development, community service and networking opportunities, including an annual educational alumni lunch and quarterly neighborhood lunches.

Each year, 30 TREC members between ages 27-37 are selected following an application process to participate in the 10-month ALC and participate in leadership development programs and lunches, receive personalized training with a professional executive coaching firm and implement a community service project.

Commercial real estate professionals in upper management are encouraged to apply for ELC, a six-month program that helps them sharpen their strengths, identify and implement solid leadership approaches and build their personal brands. Classes focus on major leadership issues executives face through a combination of candid roundtable discussions, guest speakers, group assignments and personalized coaching.
