Young Guns Core Committee Board Nomination Form
To nominate someone for a position on the 2026 Young Guns Core Committee, please submit an application below.
You may nominate more than one candidate. You may also nominate yourself for a position.
Core Committee nominations have closed.
Each committee member must:
- Represent the Young Guns voice and promote inclusive engagement
- Lead or co-lead a programmatic vertical (e.g., events, engagement, DEI, marketing)
- Commit to one full year of monthly meetings and leadership responsibilities
- Support membership growth, activation, and retention
- Act as brand ambassadors for TREC and the Young Guns network
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidate must be an active TREC member in good standing (or employer is)
- Candidate must be an active TREC member for at least one full year
- Â Candidate must have been active in at least one TREC or Young Guns program in the past year
- Demonstrated leadership or initiative via committee, volunteer work, mentorship, etc.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Each member will be assessed quarterly on:
- Attendance at 80 percent of meetings and events
- Engagement with at least one TREC event or committee meeting outside of Core Committee each quarter
- Recruiting at least two new event attendees or Young Guns volunteers
- Non-performing members may be asked to step down with a pathway to reengage the following year.
