PRESIDENT & CEO
Linda McMahon

Linda knows both commercial real estate and Dallas well. With three decades in banking, including 15 years in community development, her strategic vision is just what the commercial real estate industry needs to drive the TREC’s initiatives. Linda attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Government. When she needs a break, Linda loves to spend time with her family, travel, attempt to play golf as well as explore art, music and dining places.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Carla Brandt

Carla isn’t intimidated by numbers or spreadsheets. She is the perfect person to oversee TREC’s accounting, budgeting, auditing process and reporting. Carla attended the University of North Texas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Finance. On the weekends, Carla can be found cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, decked out in Cowboy apparel with her four dogs sporting her favorite team’s jerseys right alongside her.

VICE PRESIDENT – PROGRAMS, LEADERSHIP & CULTURE
Holland Morris

Holland’s love of learning and longstanding interest in helping others realize their potential in leadership culminate in her role at TREC where she oversees the leadership development activities, including the Associate Leadership Council (ALC), the Leadership Alumni, the Mentorship Program and the Fellowship of Executive Leaders. Holland also manages TREC’s educational programs, including Bank of Texas Speaker Series, Market Matters, Power Hour and our podcast, TRECcast. Holland also oversees the organization’s internal approach to culture. She attended Mount Mercy University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English. On the weekends, Holland enjoys plotting her next hiking trip or scouting out a new favorite brunch spot.

TREC FOUNDATION COORDINATOR
Kennedy Bower

Kennedy’s lifetime of service to the community began at age 10, when she first volunteered at a homeless shelter. Since then, her passion for service has spread to communities throughout the country. A graduate of the University of Kansas, she’s used her bachelor’s degree in political science and business to work with mixed-use and multi-family housing communities in Chicago, Kansas City and Dallas, gaining experience in construction with new development and renovation project management along the way. Kennedy is responsible for coordinating all of TREC’s philanthropic efforts through the Foundation, including the Dallas Catalyst Project, and ensuring our focus is on community investment within four key areas; education, housing, job creation, and the environment. Kennedy is also managing grant applications and funding requests, and organizing professional and development services requests – utilizing the skills of our members for non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses seeking pro bono assistance. In her free time, she is probably either in South Dallas or watching college sports.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Christina Garcia

Without Christina, TREC’s office would be in disarray. Her masterful organizational skills and attention to detail help her manage day-to-day operations and support the President-CEO. Christina attended Arlington Career Institute where she earned a paralegal certification. When she’s not keeping the office running smoothly, Christina is active outdoors. You may find her running a 5k or pitching a tent at a campsite.

LEADERSHIP AND PROGRAMS COORDINATOR
Kelsey Holmes

With a background in non-profit program development and event coordination, Kelsey loves using her passion for order and efficiency to serve the Dallas community. She graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara, and though not a Dallas native, she got here as fast as she could! Kelsey works in the Leadership and Programs departments coordinating TREC’s educational events, including Speaker Series, Market Matters, and Power Hour. Kelsey also assists in the coordinator of all leadership development activities, including the Associate Leadership Council (ALC), the Leadership Alumni, the Mentorship Program, and the Fellowship of Executive Leaders.  When not in the office, you can find Kelsey spending time with her family, growing her own food, and planning her next big adventure.

MEMBERSHIP AND ENGAGEMENT ASSOCIATE
Mallory Kenny

A Dallas native, Mallory graduated from California Lutheran University with a degree in marketing communications and political science. While in college, she discovered her passion for working with nonprofit organizations that create positive relationships and change in the community. Now in the Membership department, Mallory hosts the Young Guns New Member Coffee sessions, organizes Breakfast Groups, helps manage member accounts, and assists with communications to members. Her goal is to help new members get a clear understanding of different opportunities within The Real Estate Council and for members to make the most of their memberships so they can achieve their goals.

COMMUNITY FUND COORDINATOR
Kawanise Mims

A graduate of the University of North Texas. She’s had the pleasure to build incredible relationships with community members, corporate representatives, and non-profits across the City of Dallas. Kawanise has a passion for evolving communities, and working alongside donors, and community representatives to make sure residents are proud of their community. Kawanise is also a 2016 graduate of Leadership Southwest, a distinguished program designed for the development of tomorrow’s leaders. She received in-debt exposure to critical issues facing the Southwest sector of Dallas. With TREC, Kawanise leads the organization’s real estate educational programs (including Real Estate 101, Real Estate Bootcamp, and Community-oriented Real Estate (CRE) Accelerator). Outside of work, Kawanise likes to spend time in Florida, watch her favorite sports teams, and spend quality time with family and friends.

EVENTS COORDINATOR
Cale Peterson

As TREC’s Event Coordinator, Cale keeps multiple plates spinning at once. She oversees FightNight, Giving Gala, and the Young Guns Casino Night, special events all benefiting the TREC Foundation. In addition to fundraisers, Cale also manages Young Guns educational programming: Young Guns Forum, Rising to the Top, and About Town. After graduating from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas (yes, Kansas), she moved to Dallas where she enjoys any excuse to be outside and moving. On the weekends, you can find her running at White Rock Lake or taking advantage of our city’s abundance of patios.

SENIOR DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
Felicia Pierson

As Senior Director of Community Investment, Felicia brings her passion and commitment to delivering capital and technical assistance to underserved communities in North Texas. She is responsible for the TREC community investment strategy through TREC Foundation and TREC Community Fund. Following a career in corporate banking in New York, Felicia has utilized her skills and talents to support community and economic development initiatives in low and moderate-income communities in California and Texas. She holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. When not working, you can find Felicia reading or out exploring the world and documenting her experiences with a camera.

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Bill San Antonio

Bill has worn many hats in the communications field in his career, and he wears many more as TREC’s marketing and communications coordinator. A graduate of St. John’s University in New York City, Bill began his career as a newspaper reporter and editor before moving to Texas and diving into the marketing world. With TREC, Bill oversees our email communications strategy, website maintenance, content (including blogs, event photography, and TREC’s official podcast), and social media planning. Outside the office, Bill loves all things sports and entertainment. And before you ask — no, he has not (yet) been to San Antonio.

Amy Stovall

Optimism, thoughtfulness and a pragmatic approach are Amy’s trademarks to building relationships with members. Amy constantly strives to develop and execute innovative strategies to recruit and maintain TREC’s membership. Amy attended Southern Methodist University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs and her master’s of Liberal Studies in Communications. Outside of the office, Amy is described as a gracious host and avid HGTV viewer. Her dream is to battle in the culinary game show, Iron Chef.

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC POLICY
Bryan Tony

Driven by a desire to help others, Bryan devoted his career to advocacy after recognizing his privileges and working in various political capacities. Originally from Hurst, Texas, Bryan graduated from Texas Christian University with dual degrees in Political Science and Economics. Bryan directs the Public Policy and Political Action committees and advances the public policy priorities set by TREC’s Executive Committee and Political Action Committee Board. In his free time, Bryan can be found enjoying Dallas’ food and culture, co-hosting The Honor Role podcast, and deepening his North Texas roots through service.

DATABASE/FINANCIAL MANAGER
Nebiat Wodere

Nebiat has a way with numbers and data. His attention to detail guarantees the accuracy of our daily accounting and our data’s integrity. Nebiat attended Oxford Brookes University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. When he’s not crunching numbers, Nebiat enjoys scoring a goal on the soccer field, lacing up his tennis shoes for a run or planning out his round trip across Europe.

DATABASE & ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE
Jane Xie

Jane is an accountant who works with the financial manager to help with finance reports, budgets and accounting records. She graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with bachelor’s degree in accounting and started her master’s program in accounting in the fall of 2019. She fell in love with numbers and has enjoyed working with numbers since she was a little girl. Outside of the work, she likes hanging out with friends and enjoying the beauty of nature.

Mekdes Yae

Mekdes has a natural knack for numbers and organizing data. Her left-brain thinking ensures the accuracy of our daily accounting and financial database. She attended the University of Colorado where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting. When she’s not at the office, Mekdes can be found relaxing and recharging on the couch viewing newly released movies, which she can watch in any of the three languages she speaks.
