Our annual fundraising events are fantastic networking opportunities that provide critical sources of funding for TREC Community Investors initiatives, including our annual Associate Leadership Council and Young Guns projects.

FightNight

Since 1989, FightNight has become one of North Texas’ largest philanthropic events, raising more than $27 million to support TREC Foundation’s community investment initiatives. Get ringside for a spectacular evening of professional boxing, casino gaming, exceptional cuisine, and the opportunity to be among the top decision makers in the industry and political community. Annual attendance is approximately 1,400 guests.

Young Guns: Night at the Levee

Casino Night is our premier Young Guns event, bringing together more than 500 young commercial real estate professionals for a night of casino-style gaming to raise funds for the annual Young Guns Foundation Project.

Our newest Young Guns event brings together hundreds of young commercial real estate professionals for an evening of networking and music to raise funds for the annual Young Guns Project.

Get Involved

TREC seeks volunteers to help plan and produce our Special Events. Volunteers assist with ticket and table sales, securing raffle prizes and sponsorships, and supporting staff during events, among other responsibilities. If you are interested in joining a Special Events committee or volunteering, please contact Kristin Urias.

FightNight Tables Sales Committee 
This committee is responsible for sponsor table sales and assisting FightNight Committee with sales plan and prospecting new companies.

  • Active April-September. Attend kickoff meeting and weekly or biweekly conference calls.

FightNight Raffle Prize Committee
This committee secures donations of raffle prizes and assists FightNight Committee with creative tactics for pre-sales and on-site sales.

  • Active April-September. Attend kickoff meeting and provide updates in conference calls as needed.

 

FightNight Volunteers
Volunteers serve the night of the event. Positions include greeters, ticket takers, media support, raffle team, betting team, betting booth volunteers, casino booth volunteers, cigar booth volunteers and cash room volunteers.

 

Underwriting Committee
This committee leads efforts to secure top underwriting sponsorships. They seek financial support and help ensure sponsor recognition is aligned with each sponsor’s commitment and event budget. Additionally, committee helps to expand company prospect list for event solicitation.
