Bank of Texas Speaker Series: Texas 2036

By the time Texas reaches its bicentennial in 2036, the state’s population is expected to have grown by an additional 10 million people — but do we have the resources to match that growth? Join us in conversation with Tom Luce, founder and CEO of Texas 2036, which strives to enable Texans to make policy decisions through accessible data, long-term planning, and statewide engagement so that The Lone Star State remains a prime place to live and work. Our discussion will be moderated by Leona Allen Ford, Deputy Publisher of the Dallas Morning News who is in charge of diversity and inclusion throughout the company, and cover the social, economic, and demographic diversity throughout the state and what the data Texas 2036 has collected can tell us about how to intentionally work toward an equitable, inclusive and unbiasedly just future for all Texans.
