Unauthorized GoFundMe Page for the TREC Community Investors

Last week, we discovered that a GoFundMe page had been created for TREC Community Investors without our knowledge or consent. This page was part of a new feature launched by GoFundMe, which automatically generated more than 1.4 million nonprofit pages using public IRS data and information from partners.

We have since removed the page from GoFundMe. Supporters who wish to contribute to TREC Community Investors' can do so directly and securely through the TREC Community Investorswebsite.
