ALC Class of 2026 Application

Entering its 30th year, the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) program helps prepare emerging commercial real estate executives to take greater strides in their careers through an intensive program that focuses on civic engagement, industry insight, and leadership development.

Each year, class members participate in a series of monthly program days, networking opportunities, and a capstone project that benefits the Dallas community and demonstrates industry impact.

Please note: Applicants must submit an application, short video, and two letters of reference to be considered for the Class of 2026.

Attend an Info Session

Applicants are welcome to hear more about the program experience and get any questions answered.

Step 2

Submit an Application

Required for submission are a brief application, a short introductory video (3 minutes max) and two letters of reference (one from inside your company and one from outside your company).



Step 3

Steering Committee Review

Applications and videos are reviewed by all 12 Steering Committee members.



Step 4

Class is Announced

Selected applicants are invited to the Chairman’s Reception and Class Retreat.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the age requirement for ALC class members?

Candidates must be between the ages of 30 and 40 as of March 1, 2026.

What is the cost of the program?

The program cost is $6,000. If your company has a corporate Founder or Stakeholder membership, the program cost is $5,500.

This includes all elements of the program including an executive coach assessment and review.

Do I need to meet with Steering Committee members individually?

No. To ensure fairness and equity, only official information sessions and applications count. One-on-one meetings are not part of the process.

What should I include in my video?

It should be three minutes or less and filmed on your phone or computer. Production quality doesn’t matter, but your content does.

What is the monthly time commitment for class members?

Class members are required to attend the Chairman’s Reception (February 12), Class Retreat (February 27), and all nine program days (March-December). The expected time commitment is approximately 12 hours per month, which includes class days, project work, and preparation.

Class members also sell FightNight raffle tickets to support their annual class project, a capstone initiative with community and industry impact.

Can I miss a program day?

Class members are expected to attend all program days. However, class members may be excused for up to 12 hours of program days.
