Bio

Sam Littlejohn specializes in tenant representation in the retail sector at CBRE, providing integral advisory and transaction services for his clients. He brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, having completed successful transactions throughout the United States.

Prior to brokerage, Mr. Littlejohn served as Senior Vice President of Guaranty Bank’s Capital Markets Group where he worked on structuring and negotiating the closing of over $5.2 billion in commercial real estate debt placements and syndications nationally.

Mr. Littlejohn graduated with honors from Hampton University in Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Sam is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), serves on the Executive Board for TREC Community Investors and has been named a Power Broker by D Magazine.

Artemio De La Vega is the founder and CEO of De La Vega Development, a commercial real estate firm specializing in dynamic mixed-use developments. Mr. De La Vega has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on single-tenant, multi-tenant retail centers and mixed-use developments. He brings a versatile and deep knowledge of development, master planning, entitlements, construction, and capital markets to every project.

Mr. De La Vega has successfully invested, acquired, developed, or redeveloped more than 100 commercial real estate projects throughout the Americas. Some of his more notable projects include the 900,000 square-foot Las Palmas Marketplace in El Paso, TX; the 900,000 square-foot Canyon West in Lubbock, TX; the 400,000 square-foot Kings Crossing in Shreveport, LA; as well as multiple industrial distribution and manufacturing facilities for clients such as Chrysler, General Motors, Alcoa, Yazaki, Bergamasca, and more.

As a recognized leader in the commercial real estate industry, Mr. De La Vega frequently serves as a panelist for many leadership and future vision summits. He is also a guest columnist for a variety of publications and active with several professional organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Real Estate Council (TREC). In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Chancellor’s Council of the University of Texas System, is a board member and donor to the FEMAP Foundation, and is a proud donor and supporter of the Artemio De La Vega Scholarship Fund for the benefit of Hispanic students at the University of Texas, El Paso.

Mr. De La Vega received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas, is a graduate of Culver Military Academy, Jr. Reserve Officers Training Corps, and holds an FAA private aircraft license. He enjoys spending time with his wife and six children.

Beginning his career in 1983, Tim Hughes formed Falcon Realty Advisors, LLC in 2001 with a focus on full service tenant representation in the retail and lifestyles arena. He has more than 35 years of experience developing and implementing real estate strategies for a variety of clients throughout US markets.

Mr. Hughes has represented major national and box retail brands focusing on planning for new store development as well as assisting retailers with non-performing locations through strategies to redevelop or reposition those assets to enhance exit strategy value for over 200 surplus properties from New Mexico to Florida.

Mr. Hughes is also an advisor and principal in numerous acquisition and development projects that buy, develop and redevelop retail assets for retailers and restaurateurs.

Terry is the founder and CEO of Trademark Property Company out of Fort Worth. He is also the host of the podcast Leaning In. Leaning In is a podcast exploring the future of the retail and mixed-use real estate. Mr. Montesi and other executives of Trademark speak with experts from various backgrounds and areas to discuss brick-and-mortar retail in an e-commerce world and what it looks like to lean into it while others are leaning out.

As founder and CEO, Mr. Montesi has led Trademark Property Company through 28 years of innovative, community-focused development. Under his leadership, Trademark has worked on more than $3.9 billion and 18 million square feet of some of the most stakeholder-centric retail and mixed-use properties in the United States.

Mr. Montesi is the driving force behind Trademark’s collaborative, community-driven approach to development. Pulling from his 30-plus years of industry experience, he has cultivated a company philosophy that is defined by creating meaningful customer experiences, collaborating with communities, and unlocking potential. His commitment to constant evolution and longtime support of the core tenets of Conscious Capitalism led him to create Trademark’s own conscious development model, The Conscious Place, setting the tone for a continued focus on innovative and experiential retail and mixed-use places.

Mr. Montesi sits on the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Board of Trustees; is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors Hall of Fame, the World Presidents’ Organization, and the Urban Land Institute (ULI); and has served on numerous committees and judging panels for ULI, ICSC and the Texas Exes.

Seitz Group has developed 53 Shopping Centers totaling 9,700,000 square feet in the Southeast and Southwest over the past 33 years. In the past five years Seitz Group has developed approximately 1,700,000 square feet in Flower Mound, Frisco, and McKinney. Seitz Group has also begun developing multifamily projects ancillary to their retail projects.

Eric Seitz graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in management and accounting, and worked three years in public accounting and three years in banking. Eric started his real estate development career in 1989 at Maclay Properties, and started Seitz Group in 1993.
