Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in Dallas, but I did spend four years in Austin. Hook’em!
What is your favorite thing to do in Dallas?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I also enjoy coaching football, basketball and baseball or playing golf anywhere around town, especially Northwood Club.
What do you need to be successful in your role as Vice President of Business Development at Republic Title?
The entire Republic Title team is so strong that it makes my job easy. The level of service provided by our closers and underwriters drives our company. I can’t tell you how many times a new client closes their first deal with us and immediately sends us another. Our business is very relationship-driven so involvement with organizations like TREC and programs like ALC allow me to continuously meet new people in the industry and build those relationships.
How do you motivate others?
I like to encourage, stay positive and lead by example. I’m all for jumping on the front line and trying to get everyone moving in the same direction.
As TREC’s Associate Leadership Council Chair, what do you hope to impart on this year’s class?
ALC and its programs are designed to inspire our future leaders by giving them a better understanding of all aspects of our city – Education, Governance, Community Development, the Arts, etc. My hope is that through these programs, we can provide them the opportunity to find their passion as well as an outlet for leadership within both real estate and broader community.
