The Dallas Citizens Council (DCC) was founded as a civic and social nonprofit in 1937 to bring top executives from businesses across Dallas together for collaboration in their desire and commitment to improve the city. Throughout the years, the Council’s specialties have been primarily within public policy, economic development, and economic research. Now comprised of 150 of Dallas’ top CEOs, the DCC has furthered its focus to promote inclusive growth for all, serve as the Dallas business community’s “first responders,” and support collaboration.
