As the philanthropic arm of The Real Estate Council, TREC Foundation has worked to strengthen the Dallas community through neighborhood revitalization efforts in education, housing, job creation, and the environment. Since its inception, TREC Foundation has contributed more than $13 million in grant funds to more than 150 nonprofits.
TREC Community Fund
A fully certified Community Development Financial Institution by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, TREC Community Fund offers access to capital and technical assistance to nonprofit and for-profit organizations in Dallas and Collin County for commercial real estate projects that benefit low and moderate-income families and their communities.
Dallas Catalyst Project
The Dallas Catalyst Project is a TREC Foundation initiative to revitalize part of the Forest District neighborhood in South Dallas in partnership with St. Philip’s School & Community Center, Cornerstone Baptist Church, and CitySquare.
Dallas Collaborative For Equitable Development
The Dallas Collaborative for Equitable Development (DCED) is a TREC Community Fund-led initiative funded by the JPMorgan Chase PRO Neighborhoods program to direct catalytic real estate projects and offer access to wealth creation resources to The Bottom, West Dallas-Census Tract 205, and Forest District neighborhoods.
