Opportunities For Involvement

Foundation Project

Help better our community with a real estate related project while networking with your fellow Young Guns. This year the Young Guns will support the renovation of the Cornerstone Baptist Church Community Laundromat as part of Dallas Catalyst Project!

Volunteer & Community Engagement

Spread the word about opportunities for Young Guns to give back to the community and participate in work days, where a group of Young Guns can make a difference throughout the greater community

Education

Responsible for informing Young Guns of the important issues throughout DISD and providing an avenue for members to engage in education related issues and quarterly volunteer days within the school district.

Casino Night

Celebrate with a night of casino-style gaming at the Young Guns premiere event, Casino Night. The annual event brings together more than 500 young professionals for a full night of entertainment to raise funds for the Young Guns Foundation project.

Forum

Keep in the know about trending topics in Dallas while networking with industry leaders. Forum is an annual event where key players participate on a panel to exchange ideas and views on the selected topic or issue. Past Forums include a discussion on the past, present and future of Deep Ellum, redeveloping Lower Greenville and the revitalization of the Farmer’s Market.

Rising to the Top

Find out what it takes to rise to the top from real estate professionals who’ve done it. This annual event brings together leading commercial real estate executives to discuss current topics, share career history and offer advice you can’t find elsewhere.

Special Events

Join the Young Guns for the annual kickoff, midyear kickoff and quarterly happy hours to learn more about TREC and network with fellow Young Guns. Want the inside track on upcoming developments in the Dallas area? Join a quarterly About Town program, which provide an overview of an active development, often include a construction site tour and conclude with a networking opportunity at a nearby venue.

Mentorship Program

Learn from an experienced commercial real estate professional. With this one-one-one mentorship program, each mentor and mentee meet regularly to identify attainable goals for the year and develop a plan to achieve those goals. Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 35 to participate.

Membership and Engagement

Help recruit new members and retain current membership. The committee hosts monthly New Member Coffees to build relationships with new members, promotes the benefits of Young Guns membership to young, commercial real estate professionals and keeps members informed of ways to get involved in TREC.

PAC

Inform and educate members about local and statewide issues that impact the commercial real estate industry, long-term job growth and quality of life in the greater Dallas area. During election time, the committee also identifies and endorses candidates for public office.

Breakfast Groups

Get to know your fellow Young Guns over breakfast. Meet with a small group to discuss business, current trends and local issues while building relationships with Young Guns across a variety of businesses in the commercial real estate industry. Young Guns membership is required to participate. Sign up today!
