The Associate Leadership Council (ALC) Class of 2025 joined officials from Frazier Revitalization to cut the ribbon on the nonprofit’s newly renovated courtyard during a community celebration on Friday, March 27.
Over the last year, class members transformed the courtyard for their community investment project in conjunction with the ongoing Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City neighborhood revitalization initiative.

Renovations to the nearly 4,000 square-foot space, located at 4716 Elsie Faye Heggins Street, allow for Frazier to administer its community programs outdoors year-round, particularly during the hotter summer months and during evening hours.
Frazier Revitalization is a place-based organization whose mission “is to be a catalyst for change and transformation in the Frazier neighborhood, by coordinating, supporting and assisting economic and cultural development.” It hosts a variety of neighborhood stabilization, community outreach, and engagement programs for all age groups.
The project initially cost approximately $133,000 and received a $75,000 TREC Community Investors grant and more than $70,000 in additional grants and in-kind donations.
Work included the construction of a pergola shade structure and small stage area, improved lighting and security, enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity, new patio furniture and seating, repaved walkways, refreshed landscaping, and a custom sidewalk mural designed by a local artist.
Class members Alena Denisova of ARCO/Murray Construction and Preston Zartman of Balfour Beatty served as project managers, while Daniel Tanner of 42 Real Estate led the construction team.
