The Real Estate Council held its first educational program of 2019 alongside the Urban Land Institute – North Texas on Thursday with Bank of Texas Speaker Series: WalkUP Wake-Up With Christopher Leinberger. Leinberger, Chair of the Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis at George Washington University School of Business, debuted the study with Dr. Tracy Loh, also of George Washington University School of Business’s Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis, before an audience of approximately 300 TREC members and guests during a luncheon at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel.
A panel consisting of Phil Myrick, President of the Project for Public Places in New York City; Scott Polikov, President of Gateway Planning; and Jennifer Vey, Senior Fellow at the Washington DC-based The Brookings Institution; and moderated by Brandon Palanker, Founder and President of 3BL Strategies, then analyzed Leinberger’s study.
