In this edition of TRECcast, Winstead PC’s Tobin Swope joins us to talk about his family’s FightNight connection, his time with Stanford University’s baseball program, and navigating law school and the real estate industry during the late 2000s economic downturn, among other topics.
A member of the Associate Leadership Council’s Class of 2014, Tobin is the secretary to this year’s TREC executive board. With Winstead’s Real Estate Developments & Investments Practice Group, he covers a variety of commercial real estate transactions involving financing, development, leasing, acquisition and disposition of real property of all asset classes, including multi-family and student housing, office, retail, industrial, flex, healthcare, gas station/convenience store and master planned single-family and mixed-use developments. Tobin is also the son of Jeff Swope, one of The Real Estate Council’s founding members.
An abridged version of our conversation with Tobin was recently published as part of TREC’s Member Spotlight interview series and can be read here.
