A recording of our March 10 Bank of Texas Speaker Series event, “Public Safety: Looking to the Future” is now available via our podcast and YouTube page.

The event featured an in-depth conversation between Dallas Morning News editorial writer Ryan Sanders, new Dallas Police Department Chief Eddie Garcia, and Dallas City Councilwoman Jennifer Staubach Gates about the state of public safety in DFW and Garcia’s plans to manage the department.

Garcia is the 30th chief in DPD history and the first Latino to serve the position. He previously spent 29 years with the San Jose Police Department.

We are grateful to our sponsors Bank of Texas, Stewart Title, and the Dallas Morning News for their ongoing support of Speaker Series.
