DALLAS – The Real Estate Council Political Action Committee (TREC PAC) announces its endorsement of three candidates in the upcoming election on May 4, including two Dallas Independent School District (ISD) and one Dallas College candidates.

The list of TREC PAC-endorsed candidates includes Lance Currie, Dallas ISD District 1; Ed Turner, Dallas ISD District 9; and Dr. Edwin Flores, Dallas College District 1.

The Real Estate Council (TREC) is proud to partner with Dallas ISD and Dallas College leadership to prepare the future workforce of Dallas and the region. The policies and priorities set by the trustees of each local education system can have a tremendous impact on student wellbeing and success, regional workforce readiness, and our future economic growth.

As part of its vetting process, the TREC PAC Interview Committee invited all candidates running for the three contested positions to be interviewed, where they shared information about their backgrounds, their reasons for running for office and their plans if elected. Each candidate selected for endorsement demonstrated a strong committement to strengthening student success and preparing Dallas’ future workforce.

Early voting runs from April 22 to April 30 and Election Day is Saturday, May 4. Find early voting locations here.
