The final pillar of our new strategic plan is Transformative Change, our pursuit of bold, long-term projects and initiatives that create lasting impact in North Texas.

These efforts go beyond incremental improvements, like when we financed the feasibility study for what became Klyde Warren Park, or the investments we made in the Forest District and Mill City through the Dallas Catalyst Project.

Transformative projects create opportunities for our members in the commercial estate industry and address prevalent challenges through innovation, collaboration, and strategic leadership.

Over the next three years, the strongest commercial real estate community in North Texas will think BIGGER than it ever has before.

Here are the ways we’ll achieve that:

  • Conduct rigorous research and environmental scanning to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop a comprehensive framework to guide the design and execution of transformative initiatives.
  • Engage membership and community stakeholders in the co-creation process to ensure relevance and shared ownership.
  • Ensure strategic alignment and feasibility throughout planning and implementation.
  • Position TREC as a thought leader by elevating visibility and influence in transformative initiatives.
